Biphasic mesothelioma is a complex and unique form of mesothelioma that contains both epithelioid and sarcomatoid components. Unlike purely epithelioid mesothelioma, which tends to have a better prognosis, or sarcomatoid mesothelioma, which is more aggressive, biphasic mesothelioma falls somewhere in between.
